CABARRUS COUNTY - CURRENT MEMBERSHIP <br />Cabarrus County has four (4) members on the twenty -three (23) member Centralina Workforce <br />Development Board (WDB). The Cabarrus County Commissioners will select and approve <br />nominations for WDB members based on the slate of nominations presented by the appropriate <br />agencies and organizations listed under "General Information" and "Membership ". Each WDB <br />member is appointed to serve a two -year term. Nominations and appointments to fill the categories of Education and Organized Labor <br />are requested. <br />Ms. Lisa Conger is eligible for reappointment as the Education representative. Lisa is an excellent <br />Board member and serves on the Board's regional Youth Council. Her expertise and experience is <br />invaluable to the Board. Lisa Conger has agreed to be reappointed for another 2 year term. <br />The Centralina WDB requests that Ms. Lisa Conger be <br />reappointed as the EDUCATION representative for <br />Cabarrus County <br />Mr. Tom Goedeke is eligible for reappointment as the Organized Labor representative. Tom is an <br />active member of the Board's Workforce Readiness Committee. His expertise and experience <br />(including his service on the Cabarrus Literacy Council) is also invaluable to the Board. Tom <br />Goedeke has agreed to be reappointed for another 2 year term. <br />The Centralina WDB requests that Mr. Tom Goedeke <br />be reappointed as the ORGANIZED LABOR <br />representative for Cabarrus County. <br />Attachment number 3 <br />H -2 Page 292 <br />
