Request for Qualifications for Design Services on <br />Sheriff Administration Seventh Floor Renovations <br />Project Description: <br />Cabarrus County is currently planning to renovate the seventh floor of the existing Sheriff's <br />Administration building for use as multipurpose public safety training classrooms, fitness rooms, and <br />associated offices. The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Administration building is located at 30 Corban <br />Avenue, Concord, NC 28026. The seventh floor is currently just a shell with no internal walls, <br />electrical, plumbing, or HVAC infrastructure. The design will encompass structural, electrical, <br />plumbing, data /phone, mechanical, minor storage, educational, fire and security. <br />Qualifications and Proposal Requirements: <br />Proposals for qualifications relating to design will be due to Cabarrus County by 3 p.m. on <br />June 1 st, 2011. The responses should include the following: <br />• Firm name and location of the office from which the work will be performed.
