Box 707 <br />Concord, N.C. 28026 -0707 <br />and the Architect: <br />(Name, legal status, address and other information) <br />Griffin Architecture, P.A. <br />5 Union St. South <br />Concord, N.C. 28025 <br />for the following Project: <br />(Name, location and detailed description) <br />Cabarrus County Former Jail Partial Demolition, Renovation and Parking Lot <br />77 Union St. South <br />Concord NC 28025 <br />The scope of the demolition of the 1986 Former Jail Addition, renovations to the 1970 <br />Former Jail and proposed parking lot configuration generally are to be as shown on <br />attached drawing s A -1, A -2, A -3, and A -4 and are to include: <br />0 Disconnection and termination of utility lines serving the 1986 Former Jail <br />Addition <br />Designation of the temporary site fencing requirements, site features to be <br />removed and post demolition site repair requirements. <br />Designation of detention equipment to be removed from the 1970 Former Jail. <br />Designation of the structures to be removed and the temporary measures required <br />for infilling of wall openings and maintaining weather tightness of east exterior <br />wall and roof surfaces of 1970 Former Jail roof after removal of the Addition. <br />Designation of material recycling requirements <br />Modifications to the east exterior wall, of the 1970 Fortner Jail, as required by the <br />removal of the 1986 Jail Addition. <br />0 Alterations to the first floor and second floor of the 1970 Former Jail and the <br />second floor of the Courthouse as shown on Drawing A -3. The renovations are to <br />include insta lling ne floor finishes, repairing and paint walls on the first and <br />ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS: <br />The author of this document has <br />added information needed for its <br />completion.
