9. Individuals who have received crisis assistance (General Assistance, Adult <br />Assistance, Emergency Assistance 200% and /or Crisis Intervention Program) in the <br />amount of $300.00 will be required to attend budget classes before future assistance <br />may be provided. Worker will register individual for budget class when household <br />has reached the $300.00 funding limit for any of the above financial assistance <br />programs. Worker will advise the individual that they must attend budget class before <br />any future assistance can be provided. Failure to attend the budget classes will <br />result in denial of future County funded crisis assistance for any period beyond the <br />current 12 months. <br />10. Payment will not be authorized for heating or cooling expenses during the Cri sis <br />Intervention Program season from 200% funds. 200% funds will only be authorized <br />when natural gas is used as a cooking source when Crisis Intervention Program funds <br />are unavailable. Combination of funds from different county funding sources to <br />resolve the crisis must have the Program Administrator/Director Approval. <br />Cabarrus County budgeted $55,000 for FY 2011 from the Work First Block Grant to fund <br />the 200% assistance program. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -3 Page 103 <br />
