Watts /Senior Planner <br />Subject: Reservation of Capacity and Capacity Schedule Infornnation for Brooke Pointe Manor <br />Date: 8/18/2011 <br />Brooke Pointe Manor, LLC, (106 Muir Woods Drive, Cary, NC 27513) is requesting a Reservation of <br />Capacity for the Brooke Pointe Manor Apartment project, which consists of 66 multi - family units on <br />+ /- 4.53 acres, located off Davidson Highway in the City of Concord, North Carolina. <br />School Capacity Review <br />The Brooke Pointe Manor multi family residential project is expected to produce approximately 10 <br />elementary students, 4 middle school students and 5 high school students for a total of 19 students. <br />The schools impacted by the project are Winecoff Elementary School, Northwest Mddle School and <br />Northwest High School <br />Note: The calculations below include 20 day enrollment figures from June 9, 2011, <br />The countys capital improvements plan (CIP) includes the following proposed improvements that <br />would create additional capacity for the schools impacted by the project: <br />Number of Additional Seats listed in CIP <br />Year <br />School <br />2010 <br />2011 <br />2012 <br />2013 <br />2015 <br />2015 <br />Elementary <br />Winecoff <br />Middle <br />Northwest <br />High <br />Northwest <br />Seat Distribution Summary- (Based on July 2011 Capital Improvements Plan) <br />E lementary - The CIP does not include proposed improvements that would create additional <br />capacity for the school impacted by this project. <br />Middle — The CIP does not include proposed improvements that would create additional capacity for <br />the school impacted by this project. <br />High — The CIP does not include proposed improvements that would create additional capacity for <br />the school impacted by this project. <br />The following table indicates available and planned school capacity, based on the standards for review <br />established in Chapter 15 of the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -1 Page 45 <br />
