That's the question the <br />Cabarrus County Food System Assessment set out to answer. Beginning <br />in June of 2010, the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS) <br />began work on a baseline assessment of our food system here in <br />Cabarrus County. CEFS worked with the Food Policy Council to conduct a <br />systematic examination of what it looks like to eat in Cabarrus County. <br />The assessment considered not just what we eat but also all of the <br />components necessary for a robust local food system. In short this <br />assessment gives us an overview of our entire food system here in <br />Cabarrus County.
