Federal and State OSHA, as appropriate <br />The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) located in Boston, Massachusetts, follows <br />a nationally - recognized process for the establishment of many standards that are applicable <br />to fire protection operations and administration. In many jurisdictions, some of the NFPA <br />standards have been adopted and fully implemented while otherNFPA standards are utilized <br />as general guidelines for pursuing further improvement in safety and services.
