As part of the energy <br />awareness initiative, October 30 is declared Weatherization Day. Each <br />October, Weatherization agencies reach out to the public to provide <br />information regarding this program. The Weatherization program is a low <br />income energy efficiency program. This program provides home energy <br />audits and makes energy efficient upgrades to homes to save low income <br />families money on their energy costs. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to adopt proclamation. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Kelly Sifford, AICP Community Development Manager <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />No <br />COUNTY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS /COMMENTS: <br />This item was approved by the Board for inclusion on the Agenda as a <br />Consent item. <br />F -2 Page 23 <br />
