The new road will extend approximately 1,400 LF and will require a core slab bridge for <br />crossing Back Creek and will also cross an existing WSACC 18" gravity sewer line extending down <br />the west side of Back Creek. The roadway extensions are anticipated to be constructed on property <br />owned by Cabarrus County and right -of -way to be purchased from Ms. Margaret Stallings. The <br />new road is to be an asphalt road with curb and gutter, designed per NCDOT for thoroughfare <br />traffic with funding from Cabarrus County and NCDOT. New water or sewer improvements are to <br />be included in the project. <br />Design Phase Engineering Services: <br />1. Contact and meet with project team at the proposed site to review the proposed road and right <br />of way encroachment. <br />2. Prepare applications for wetland encroachment permits related to the project to include: <br />a. Field delineation and flagging of wetland boundaries impacted by the proposed project. <br />b. Meet with Corp of Engineers (COE) at the site to obtain a jurisdictional determination (JD) <br />of the wetlands. <br />c. Identify Nationwide Permits (NWP) applicable to the project. <br />d. Prepare a 401 Certification application for submittal to the NCDENR DWQ. <br />e. Prepare NWP Pre - Construction Notifications (PCN) for submittal to the COE. <br />f. Coordinate and respond to question by the COE or NCDENR DWQ related to the project. <br />3. Provide survey services to include: <br />a.
