Positron Public Safety Systems <br />Page 17 of 20 <br />October 16, 2009 <br />Notes <br />This quote provides two (2) Positron VIPER Remotes and additional equipment for the 2 Host Sites. <br />Each site will operate from the Cabarrus Host VIPER. It is assumed sufficient Ethernet ports are available at <br />the host site for the installation of the quoted VOIP Routers, otherwise additional charges will apply. It is <br />assumed the Host Site is operating VIPER 2.0, Power 911 v 5.2 and Power MIs v 4.2. All trunks and admin <br />lines for the quoted remote sites will terminate locally. Each remote site has been configured with local Power <br />911 and Power MIS Servers. <br />The Standard Operating Procedure and Premise Information Modules require <br />customer-input of data. <br />All inter-site connectivity is the responsibility of the Telco. <br />Two (2) connections are required between each site and the WAN. <br />WAN Requirements: <br />• Guaranteed Bandwidth of 1806 Kbps for Concord <br />• Guaranteed Bandwidth of 1381 Kbps for Kannapolis <br />• Low Latency (< 40ms) <br />• Low Jitter (< Sms) <br />• DNS Forwarding and Caching. <br />• Support Multicast Routing <br />• Support DHCP Relay <br />• Support QOS <br />• Reliable for UDP <br />- Packets received in order they are sent <br />- Minimal or no Packet loss <br />• Security against intrusion and virus attack <br />Alternate call routing between host sites assumed at the Telco level. <br />A Dial-Up Line for Remote Monitoring and Maintenance must be provisioned. <br />Routers are included as quoted .Router interfacing equipment is not included. Peripherals are included as <br />quoted. It is assumed Ethernet connectivity is available to the quoted routers at each site. Network <br />Engineering Services are included. Consolidated reporting (Regional MIS) is not included. <br />The Site Survey is intended to identify any additional miscellaneous equipment or services <br />required to ensure smooth installation and operation of the quoted system.
