The section of the road where this is proposed is the section located closest to the <br />Lomax Incubator Farm Park. <br />The following documents are attached for your reference: <br />• A GIS map illustrating the area for the ROW to be abandoned (see attached) and where <br />gates will be installed to limit access to the site. The hatched area represents the area <br />for abandonment. The red lines indicate where the gates will be installed. <br />• The executed lease agreement between Cabarrus County and Franklin and Verna <br />Lomax. <br />The Cabarrus County Commissions will formally address the abandonment at the January 19, <br />2010 Board of Commissioners' meeting. <br />Please feel free to contact me at 704-920-2985 if any additional information is required for this <br />process. <br />Sincerely, <br />John D.
