<br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 15, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Library -New Bylaws for Library Board of Trustees <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />At its January 21, 2010 meeting the Library Board of Trustees <br />unanimously voted to recommend a new set of bylaws for themselves to <br />t the Board of County Commissioners. The current bylaws for the Library <br />Board of Trustees were approved in 1984 by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. At that time the Concord Library was a department of the <br />City of Concord and the Kannapolis Library was under construction. The <br />Mt. Pleasant Library and the Harrisburg Library did not exist. The Library <br />Board of Trustees wrote the new bylaws to reflect the makeup of the current <br />' library system.
