1 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 15, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />' Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />' Tax Administration - Establish Official County Boundary Between <br />Cabarrus and Union Counties -February 2010 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners have, on numerous <br />occasions, requested the North Carolina Geodetic Survey (NCGS) to aid <br />Cabarrus County in establishing our boundaries with surrounding <br />counties. The NCGS has completed its work on the Cabarrus/Union <br />boundary and presented the survey to both counties for their approval. <br />Also due to the resignation of Ted Cisine from his employment with <br />Cabarrus County we are requesting that the Board appoint Greg Belk as <br />Special Boundary Commissioner for Cabarrus County. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to adopt a resolution to approve the location of the Cabarrus/Union <br />County line as presented on the plat entitled "County Boundary Re-survey <br />Plat For: THE CABARRUS-UNION COUNTY LINE" and to appoint Greg <br />Belk as Special Boundary Commissioner for Cabarrus County. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />J.
