i <br />' Park gates: the park gates will be locked according to the posted park operating hours. An <br />emergency phone and numbers are posted at the phone on the porch of the park office building. <br />Emergency exit gate access to exit will be provided at check in. <br />' Emergencies: contact the park ranger on duty during park hours or use the emergency phone at <br />the office. Please report any accidents to the park ranger. <br />' Visitors/guests: visitors or guests not staying overnight must leave the park before the gates are <br />closed. <br />t Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please respect the rights of others by keeping music <br />and talking at a low volume. <br />' Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. NO GROITND FIRES! Fires must be attended by <br />a responsible adult at all times. Extinguish completely before leaving campsite. Do not throw <br />' trash in fire rings, use proper receptacles. Fires must be of reasonable size and are not allowed <br />during burning bans. No cutting of Park trees permitted. <br />Damaging park property: cutting of trees, defacing buildings, tables, and littering, etc. is a <br />' violation of park ordinances. <br />Fishing: all North Carolina Wildlife regulations apply. No fishing after dark. Park fishing <br />' permits are required. <br />Hunting and/or trapping is not permitted. All Cabarrus County Parks are wildlife and nature <br />' preserves. <br />Swimming/Wading is not permitted in any of the park's lakes or streams. <br />' Firearms: no person shall possess, carry, use, or discharge any type of firearm, air gun, <br />paintball gun, or any other weapon within the park except authorized law enforcement or wildlife <br />' officer. <br />Fireworks of any type are prohibited. <br /> <br />i~ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Pets must be restrained on a leash of six feet or less at all times. Pets are not allowed inside the <br />cabins or bath house at any time. Pets may not remain in the Park overnight. This is to <br />included cabins, tent sites, vehicles, or kennels. <br />Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please check in and out with the Park <br />Ranger. <br />Enforcement: failure to abide by the regulations and ordinances governing Cabarrus County <br />Parks will subject offender to temporary or permanent expulsion from the park and/ or criminal <br />prosecution. In the event of permit revocation, all monies paid shall be forfeited by the offender <br />and retained by the park.
