CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 21, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointment -Criminal Justice Partnership Program (CJPP) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The CJPP Board voted at its May 14th meeting, to recommend the <br />appointments of William Pilkington (Public Health) and Benita McGuine <br />(Community Service Coordinator) for 3-year terms ending June 30, <br />2013. Ms. McGuine is replacing Ms. Menig who opted not to seek <br />reappointment due to retirement and whose term expired in April. The <br />"public health" position is new to the Advisory Board, but is provided for <br />under NCGS 143B-273.10 (a)(12). <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to appoint William Pilkington (Public Health) and Benita McGuine <br />(Community Service Coordinator) to the Criminal Justice Partnership <br />Program (CJPP) for 3-year terms ending June 30, 2013. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />1 Minute <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Kay Honeycutt, Clerk to the Board <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />No <br />COUNTY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATIONS/COMMENTS: <br />This item was approved by the Board for inclusion on the Agenda. <br />H-8 Page 230 <br />
