CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 19 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager -Purchase of Additional .107 Acres for Park's Office & <br />Adoption of Related Budget Amendment <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The current property configuration has the northern property line directly <br />adjacent to the existing office building. This property line also runs directly <br />through the existing parking lot serving the Park's office. A survey has been <br />completed showing the need for the county to purchase .114 acres and <br />transfer .07 acres, resulting in a net purchase of .107 acres. The price <br />agreed upon is $15,000 ($3.22 per square foot). The property description <br />and plat are included.
