"Jobs or positions created" mean <br />those new positions created and filled, or previously existing unfilled positions that are filled, as a <br />result of Recovery Act funding. "Jobs or positions retained" mean those previously existing filled <br />positions that are retained as a result of Recovery Act funding. <br />• An estimate of the number of jobs created and jobs retained. At a minimum, this estimate shall <br />include any new positions created and any existing filled positions that were retained to support or <br />carry out Recovery Act projects. The number shall be expressed as "full -time equivalent' (FTE), <br />calculated cumulatively as all hours worked divided by the total number of hours in a full -time <br />schedule. <br />• A job cannot be reported as both created and retained. <br />• This information must be reported on a quarterly basis, due to the Prime Recipient within 3 days <br />after the end of the quarter. <br />ARRA Section 1201 (c) <br />• This data will be required monthly until September 2012 or until the contract is complete and <br />reported to the Prime Recipient within 3 days after the end of the month. <br />• Contractors will need to report the number of direct on -site job hours associated with the ARRA <br />funds awarded as of the end of the reporting period. <br />o Contractors will not be expected to estimate employment data other than the direct on -site jobs <br />(for example, construction workers building a maintenance facility, or transit agency workers <br />doing preventive maintenance).
