CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 20, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointment - Department of Aging Advisory Board <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Department of Aging Advisory Board appointments are needed to replace <br />board members Mae Block (deceased) and Char Solomon (resigned). <br />The following recommendations received unanimous support from the <br />Department of Aging Advisory Board: appointment of Annette Young to <br />complete Mae Block's unexpired term ending December 31, 2010; and, <br />the appointment of Ella Walters to complete Char Solomon's unexpired <br />term ending December 31, 2012. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to appoint Annette Young to the Department of Aging Advisory <br />Board to complete an unexpired term ending December 31, 2010 and <br />appoint Ella Walters to the Department of Aging Advisory Board to <br />complete an unexpired term ending December 31, 2012. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />1 Minute <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Michael L.
