There are no other affiliations to any corporate entities.
Background
Our headquarters are located in Inwood, West Virginia, 90 miles west of Washington, DC,
with other offices in Colorado, Minnesota, and Singapore.
The Library Corporation has owned the controlling interest in Tech -Logic Corporation, a
developer of self- check, RFID and automated materials handling systems since 2004 and
purchased the Carl Corporation in June 2000.
The Library Corporation currently serves over 855 Library-Solution automation systems
representing over 4,000 mainly public libraries across the country.
TLC has 210 employees. The focus for all is to "deliver an unexpected level of customer
support" unequaled in the industry. All employees are engaged in customer satisfaction from
bottom to top. TLC does not want to be the biggest. We want to be the best. Of the 210 staff
members, 75 support current client services, 20 support sales and marketing, and 85
support research and development.
Through the years, TLC has gained a level of experience unequaled in the industry. Our
success benefits our customers and their patrons. That's because they're important -- and
the reason we keep listening.
In this day of corporate buyouts and mergers, TLC retains its identity as a privately held,
family run business. Its founder, Annette Harwood- Murphy, is active in the company's daily
operations as president and CEO.
The thousands of libraries we serve enjoy the reassurance that many years of commerce
with a family -owned business bring.
