The Library Corporation Proposal for Springfield Free Public Library <br />Hardware Requirements <br />If you are using existing equipment or obtaining equipment from a third - party, you will need to meet <br />the following requirements: <br />Dataserver and Webserver <br />TLC has specific OS configuration and partition requirements. Please contact TLC for customized <br />specifications before configuring existing equipment. <br />Cataloging or Circulation Workstation: <br />The recommended hardware configuration requirements for a Library-Solution Cataloging or <br />Circulation workstation are Intel compatible Duo Processor (2.8GHz), 1.0 GB RAM, 160GB hard <br />drive, SVGA monitor, standard keyboard, and mouse. Minimum resolution setting is 1024 X 768. <br />Your computer must be running Windows XP Pro or Windows Vista, and the security updates <br />should be current. <br />Public Access Catalog Workstation: <br />A LibraryeSolution Public Access Catalog workstation requires a workstation capable of running a <br />graphical Web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet <br />Explorer. <br />All stations require an Ethernet card and connection through the Ethernet network. <br />Barcode scanners that plug into the keyboard port of the computer typically work with <br />Library-Solution.
