Yet others think the computer has teeth and will bite their hand off. <br />LS2 PAC deftly handles all of these users from the internet savvy to the beginner. How? The <br />design is up to date. The searching is sophisticated, yet easy. Plus, it incorporates some of the <br />social networking features that patrons expect today — patron initiated tags and reviews. <br />Users have access to library fed live news feeds, websites, predictive results, collapsible <br />results, personal lists, book jacket browse, federated searching of the library catalog, news <br />feeds /websites, & subscription databases, with an interactive map of library holdings to guide <br />them, plus much more. <br />The LS2 PAC interface incorporates implicit Boolean operators similar to that found in popular <br />search engines like Google. Capitalize a Boolean operator such AND, OR, NOT, and they <br />become implicit Boolean operators. LS2 PAC includes an advanced search that includes <br />Boolean operators and search descriptors. Exact) Match � whale <br />Use the "C and "y' check boxes to group search rows. <br />Search <br />LS2 PAC uses a very sophisticated form of refining using faceted browse features. In the <br />screen below - the results have been broken down into facets that allow the patron to navigate <br />deeper into the result set.
