CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 15, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Old Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />APPAC - Resolution Pertaining to Future of Animal Shelter in Cabarrus <br />County <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The APPAC (Animal Protection & Preservation Advisory Committee) is <br />scheduled to meet on November 8 and plans to finalize a resolution <br />related to the operation of the Animal Shelter for the Board's consideration <br />at the regular meeting. <br />The Committee met and recommends the resolution be tabled to the <br />Commission's regular December meeting to allow for further <br />modification. <br />Commissioner Carruth will provide a brief update on the November 8th <br />meeting. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to table the resolution pertaining to the future of the animal shelter <br />to December 20 and receive update from Commissioner Carruth. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />5 Minutes <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Kay Honeycutt, Clerk to the Board <br />Page 45 <br />E -2 <br />
