Annex D Evaluation of County Policy D -13 December 2009 <br />and Ordinances Attachment number 13 <br />F -6 Page 161 <br />9 <br />welfare of the <br />in width, or 40 body feet or more in length, or, when erected on <br />citizens of the <br />site, is 320 or more square feet; and which is built on a <br />chassis and designed to be used as a dwelling, with <br />county. <br />permanent <br />or without permanent foundation when connected to the <br />required utilities, including the plumbing, heating, air <br />conditioning and electrical systems contained therein. <br />"Manufactured home" includes any structure that meets all of <br />the requirements of this subsection except the size requirements <br />and with respect to which the manufacturer voluntarily files a <br />certification required by the Secretary of the United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development and complies <br />with the standards established under the National Manufactured <br />Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974, 42 <br />U.S.C. §5401, et seq. (Source: The Uniform Standards Code <br />for Manufactured Homes Act," NCGS § 143 -145). For <br />purposes of this Part, a "manufactured home" does not include a <br />structure which otherwise complies with this subsection, but <br />which was built prior to June 15, 1976, which units shall be <br />classified as "mobile homes." <br />4 -49 Design and <br />1. The location of two or more Class I or Class II manufactured <br />Installation <br />homes on a parcel of land shall constitute a Manufactured <br />Standards for <br />Home Park and shall be subject to the provisions of this <br />Manufactured Home <br />Section. <br />Parks <br />2. Each application for a manufactured home park shall be <br />accompanied by a master plan. The master plan shall show the <br />circulation pattern, manufactured home spaces, permanent <br />structures and other site design requirements that may be <br />considered essential. The master plan shall show how all <br />proposed improvements will meet the design and installation <br />standards of Chapter 4, Part VII. <br />3. The minimum land area for the entire site shall be 5 acres. <br />4. Dimensional and density requirements for manufactured <br />homes shall comply with the criteria set forth in Table 1 in <br />Chapter 4, Part VII. <br />5. All manufactured home spaces shall abut upon a paved <br />internal street not less than 24 feet in paved width exclusive of <br />parking. <br />6. All manufactured home spaces shall be served by at least a <br />three -foot all- weather surface sidewalk. <br />7.
