CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 20, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Human Resources - Cabarrus County Personnel Ordinance Revision <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution on <br />September 21, 2009 to seek approval from the North Carolina State <br />Personnel Commission for substantial equivalency in the areas of <br />recruitment, selection, and advancement and classification and <br />compensation under the standards established in NCGS Chapter 126. <br />The petition was approved by the State Personnel Commission effective <br />November 1, 2010.
