Visitors /guests: visitors or guests not staying overnight must leave the park before the <br />gates are closed. <br />Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please respect the rights of others by keeping <br />music and talking at a low volume. <br />Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. NO GROUND FIRES! Fires must be <br />attended by a responsible adult at all times. Extinguish completely before leaving <br />campsite. Do not throw trash in fire rings, use proper receptacles. Fires must be of <br />reasonable size and are not allowed during burning bans. No cutting of Park trees <br />permitted. <br />Damaging park property: cutting of trees, defacing buildings, tables, and littering, etc. <br />is a violation of park ordinances. <br />Fishing: all North Carolina Wildlife regulations apply. No fishing after dark. Park <br />fishing permits are required. <br />Hunting and/or trapping is not permitted. All Cabarrus County Parks are wildlife and <br />nature preserves. <br />Swimming/Wading is not permitted in any of the park's lakes or streams. <br />Firearms: no person shall possess, carry, use, or discharge any type of firearm, air <br />gun, paintball gun, or any other weapon within the park except authorized law <br />enforcement or wildlife officer. <br />Fireworks of any type are prohibited. <br />Pets must be restrained on a leash of six feet or less at all times. Pets are not allowed <br />inside the cabins or bath house at any time. Pets may not remain in the Park <br />overnight. This is to included cabins, tent sites, vehicles, or kennels. <br />Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please check in and out with <br />the Park Ranger. <br />Enforcement: failure to abide by the regulations and ordinances governing Cabarrus <br />County Parks will subject offender to temporary or permanent expulsion from the park <br />and/ or criminal prosecution. In the event of permit revocation, all monies paid shall be <br />forfeited by the offender and retained by the park.
