CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 20, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Commerce - Interlocal Agreement (ILA) for Harrisburg Area Land Use <br />Plan Update <br />I 10I4;& 1 V 1LVILy,EWA <br />An Inter -Local Agreement has been negotiated between Cabarrus County <br />and the Town of Harrisburg in relation to the Harrisburg Area Land Use <br />Plan Update. This agreement delays utility extensions in the south <br />eastern quadrant of the land use planning area in the future. Area 2 is <br />delayed for a minimum of 3 years and Area 1 is delayed for a minimum of <br />5 years. The Town of Harrisburg adopted the agreement on November <br />8th. The effective date of the agreement is December 31, 2010. The <br />agreement will be recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds.
