To determine the net inflow or outflow of workers, the Planning <br />Area's place -of -work jobs were subtracted from the number of employed residents by industry. <br />In 2009, the Planning Area experienced a net outflow of at least 4,163 residents (51 %). The <br />actual number of commuters is presumably higher. No industries exhibited a net inflow.
