Township 1. 2003 -2009 <br />5.2.4 New Single - Family Detached Closing Price Trend <br />The average closing price for a new, detached single - family residence in Township 1 was higher <br />than in Cabarrus County every year between 2002 and September 2009 (Graph 10). The average <br />closing price in Township 1 increased 36.9% from $207,193 in 2003 to $283,677 in the first <br />three quarters of 2009. On average, closing prices in Township 1 were 12.3% higher than in <br />Cabarrus County.
