CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 20, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments - Department of Aging Advisory Board <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Department of Aging Advisory Board recommends <br />the following board members be re- appointed for a three year term <br />expiring December 31, 2013: Kay Scott, Jean Chandler, Anita Helms and <br />Annette Young. Ms. Helms also serves on the Region F Aging Advisory <br />Committee and will need an exemption to "multiple service" provision of <br />the Appointment Policy. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to appoint Kay Scott, Jean Chandler, Anita Helms and Annette <br />Young to the Department of Aging Advisory Board for three -year terms <br />ending December 31, 2013, including an exemption to the "multiple <br />service" provision of the Appointment Policy for Ms. Helms. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />1 Minute <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Michael L.
