<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 20, 2009 <br />6:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Commerce -Consent Agreement for the Castlebrook Manor Subdivision <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The applicant is Triune Development, LLC, 711 Channing Circle NC, <br />Concord, NC 28027. The project consists of 70 single-family homes on +/- <br />108.274 acres located on Jim Johnson Road. The project was approved <br />by the City of Kannapolis Technical Review Committee on October 18, <br />2006 and has since received a one year preliminary plat extension setting <br />the new expiration date at October 18, 2009. A Consent Agreement was <br />approved by the Board of Commissioners that expired on August 11, <br />2008. A Consent Agreement extension is required for the project to <br />proceed. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to consider approval of the Consent Agreement between Cabarrus <br />County and Triune Development, LLC for the Castlebrook <br />Manor subdivision, including the payment of $4,034 per lot to advance <br />school adequacy.
