CDM will contract with an engineering <br />lab to perform periodic soils CQA testing on behalf of the County and CDM. <br />' Task 1.1 -Project Management <br />CDM will administer the project, providing monthly invoicing, progress updates, and other <br />information as requested by the County. Invoices will be based on a percent complete for lump <br />' sum items and on actual efforts for billing rate items as noted below. CDM will provide the <br />County with bi-weekly updates on project status by email. In the updates, CDM will discuss the <br />status of the project relative to the schedule and identify potential difficulties and impacts to the <br />schedule, if any. <br />' Task 1.2 -Execution of Construction Contract <br />CDM will prepare and facilitate the execution of the contract documents between the Contractor <br />' and Cabarrus County. CDM will complete the following items upon receipt of an executed <br />Notice of Award from the County: <br />' ^ Review the Contractor's executed Agreements including the Performance Bond, <br />Payment Bond, Financial Statement, Insurance coverage, etc.; <br />' ^ Distribute fully executed contracts to all parties once received back from the County, <br />and; <br />^ Prepare conformed Drawings and Specifications for the project incorporating <br />' information in addenda issued during the bid phase and distributing up to four sets of <br />the conformed documents to the County and the Contractor. <br />' Task 1.3 -Administration of Construction Contract <br />As part of general administration of the Construction Contract, CDM will consult with and <br />advise Cabarrus County and act as its representative during the 210-day construction period <br />' (180 days to Substantial Completion and 210 days to Final Completion). CDM will provide <br />contract administration and general services required for the Project, including: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />^ As the County's representative for the duration of the Construction Contract, all <br />communications to and from the Contractor shall go through CDM. CDM will <br />administer the Construction Contract on behalf of the County, responding to <br />Contractor's correspondence, and issuing instructions from the County. <br />^ Carry out the duties and responsibilities as stated in the General Conditions and <br />Supplemental Conditions of the Construction Contract. <br />^ Maintain a complete document file for the project. Documents to be maintained shall <br />include, but are not limited to: correspondence, CQA procedures, CQA testing for soils <br />and geosynthetics, inspection records, shop drawing schedule, applications for payment <br />by the contractor, change orders, scheduling, project meetings, cost and disbursement <br />data, progress reports, and all other documents pertaining to the Construction Contract. <br />^ Hold aPre-Construction Conference and distribute minutes to attendees.
