Box 707 <br />Concord, N.C. z8oz6 <br />Dear Cabarrus County Commissioners: <br />Walter Vuchnich, an experienced local Orthodontist and Cabarrus County resident, <br />submitted his application to serve on the Cabarrus County Public Health Authority Board, on <br />May z~, zoo9. <br />This is the public member seat currently held by Jonathan Zsambeky, DDS, whose z"d term of <br />office will end on June 30, zoo9. Dr. Zsambeky has chosen not to make application for a <br />third term on this board. <br />Cabarrus Health Alliance Administration and the Public Health Authority Board both have a <br />strong desire to continue to have a representative of the dental profession in this public <br />seat. Cabarrus Health Alliance has a very viable Dental Clinic and mobile Dentistry program, <br />and experienced guidance and leadership from Dr. Zsambeky in past years has proven to be <br />invaluable. In addition, the zoo8 Cabarrus Community Needs Assessment has identified <br />Dental health and access to dental care as one of the most pressing issues and unmet needs <br />in Cabarrus County. Our Board firmly believes that an active, concerned Dental professional <br />remaining in this board seat can help us ensure that the Cabarrus County public health <br />Dental program continues to actively address the needs and concerns of its citizens. <br />Your support of Walter Vuchich's appointment for a three year term of office to the <br />Cabarrus County Public Health Authority is greatly appreciated. <br />Sincerely, <br />William F.
