Dickson as Consultant for the Development of <br />the Midland Park Project & Related Contract - $207,674 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />A RFP (Request for Proposal) for the development of the Midland Park <br />project (formally know as the Wallace property) was posted on the <br />County's website on March 24, 2009 and sent to a number of firms. <br />Approximately 22 responses were received and a selection team, <br />consisting of County staff and a Park Commission member, reviewed the <br />submittals. The committee interviewed five firms and selected W.K. <br />Dickson. A contract has been negotiated and approval of the contract is <br />requested. Funding for this project is included in the FY 09 budget. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the selection of W.K. Dickson as the consultant for the <br />development of the Midland Park project and related contract.
