Presented (n this proposal is our scope of services and the associated <br />fees for-these services. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />We have prepared the Scope of Services detailed below based on our review of fire protect <br />plans and specifications. <br />• Subctrade Evaluation: Our praJect engineer will observo proofrolling of the subgrade <br />soils and confirm that unstable materials are removed (it necessary), and #hat the <br />exposed subgrade In areas scheduled for fill placement is stable, Also, our engineer <br />will observe proofrolling of subgrade soils prior to base course placement as weft as <br />base course prior to asphalt placement. <br />Field Density Testing of Earth t=ill: We wilt provide an engineering technician to <br />perform in-place density testing of compacted structural fill. I have also included one <br />standard Proctor test on the proposed fill material. <br />• Field Density Testinq of Utility Trench 8ackflil: We will provide an engineering <br />technician to perform in-place density lasting of storm, sanitary, domestic water and <br />fire Ilne system trench backfill placement within structural areas. <br />• Field Tesling of Concrete: Concrete for building foundations, elevated decks and <br />slabs-on-grade wiH be tested for temperature, stump, and air content in accordance <br />with the project specifications and specimens witl be obtained for laboratory testing. <br />Use of the correct mix designs will be verified in the field. The tests will be performed <br />by an ACI certified engineering technician and will be in accordance with applicable <br />ASTM methods. <br /> <br />G-2 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />Page 261 of 315 <br />
