Article XI. Implementation <br />Section 1. Conflicting Policies <br />All policies, ordinances or resolutions that conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />This document replaces the existing Personnel Ordinance and Revisions. <br />Section 2. Seaarability <br />If any provision of this ordinance, or any rule, regulation or order thereunder of the application of such <br />provision to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of this ordinance and the application of <br />the remaining provisions, rules, regulations or orders to persons or circumstances other than those held invalid <br />will not be affected thereby. <br />Section 3. Violations of Provisions <br />An employee violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to disciplinary action up to and <br />including dismissal, in addition to any civil or criminal penalty, which may be imposed for the violation of the <br />same. <br />Section 4. Effective Date <br />This Personnel Ordinance is effective October 1, 2008 as adopted by the Cabarrus County Board of County <br />Commissioners at a meeting on September 21, 2009. <br />45 <br />F-5 <br />Attachment number 6 <br />Page 264 of 362 <br />
