CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 16, 2009 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance -Property Easements for the AT Allen Replacement Elementary <br />School - $11,636.00 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On November 9, 2009, the Cabarrus County Board of Education (BOE) is <br />scheduled to approve the purchase of property easements from the <br />following landowners: Timothy Avett ($2,500), Mr. & Mrs. Scott Avett <br />($4,224.80), and Mr. and Mrs. Homer D. Joyner (4,911.20). The Board of <br />Education requests the Cabarrus County Commissioners approve the <br />easements and pay for the easements out of the AT Allen Replacement <br />Elementary School land budget. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the purchase and payment of the property easements <br />between the Cabarrus County Board of Education and landowners: <br />Timothy Avett, Mr. & Mrs. Scott Avett and Mr. and Mrs. Homer D.
