The Board is unable to make any representations regarding the location of a
hydrant. However, it is our current understanding that the City of Concord does not intend to
instati a fire hydrant on your property.
Also pursuant to City of Concord regulations and ordinances, water service tap-in will be
provided only for the existing home on the property. Water service tap-in is not permitted for
any new home construction in this area pursuant to a current City of Concord moratorium on
new construction. It is our understanding that there is an petition process for new home tap-in
and if you have any questions you are to contact City of Concord Engineer Sue Hyde.
Please contact me should you have any questions regarding the Board's proposal or previously
provided Agreement. If none, please sign the enclosed Agreement and have it notarized and
return to me by no later than September 25, 2009. Upon receipt of the signed Agreement and
signature by the Board, we will forward to you a check from the Board for the easement fee.
Very truly yours,
WOMBLE CARLYLE SANDRIDGE & RICE
A Professional Lfmited Liability Company
Sarah A.
