CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 1122/0$ Agenda Item # <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance Department -Distinguished Budget Presentation Award <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Finance Department has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award <br />granted by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the U.S. and Canada <br />for its FY 2007-08 annual budget. In order to receive this award, the document must meet <br />the program criteria to serve as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide <br />and a communications device.
