Murphy, CIRS-A ~~A <br />Date: January 29, 2008 <br />Subject: Home and Community Care Block Grant Supplemental Funding <br />On behalf of the Home and Community Care Block Grant Steering Committee <br />(HCCBG), please approve the enclosed Agenda Request form and Budget Amendment <br />to allow the Department of Aging to accept and process the supplemental increase in <br />HCCBG funding from the NC Division of Aging and Adult Services and the Centralina <br />Area Agency on Aging. The proposed distribution of this allocation has been reviewed <br />and unanimously approved by the HCCBG Steering Committee and is respectfully <br />submitted to the Board of Commissioners. This increase in funding will allow us to <br />enhance services to the older adults of Cabarrus County. <br />Thank you for your time and consideration.
