A motion was made by Joni Juba with a second by Rick Fedrizzi to create a line item under capital improvements call "Welcome Center Development" in the amount of $39,792. Motion carried. He presented a study "Amateur Sports Facilities and Programs Assessment Update" focusing on where Cabarrus County CVB has been, is now, and should be going in the sports marketing industry. Management Report DeSales Wagster presented the management report with the following highlights: The hotel occupancy tax is continuing to meet projections. Second quarter bonuses have been given to staff meeting metric goals. The CVB has met with Lowe's Motor Speedway to discuss partnering opportunities with the new drag strip.
