CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 3/24/08 Agenda Item # r- `~ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Transportation Department -Budget Amendment - (Replacement of Wrecked Vehicle - <br />$43,124) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />A Transportation van was totalled in an inclement weather accident in January, 2008 due <br />to ice. The County's self insured liability insurance will reimburse the actual cash value <br />($9,850) of the 2000 vehicle. An additional $33,274 is requested from the Board's <br />contingency to purchase a new replacement. The replacement vehilce requested is the <br />new 20 ft.
