MEMORANDUM <br />To: Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />From: Kassie Goodson Watts/Planner <br />Subject: Reservation of Capacity and Capacity Schedule fox Park Creek <br />Date: 4/14/2008 <br />Park Creek, LLC, (195 Ervin Woods Drive, Kannapolis, NC 28081) is requesting a reservation of <br />capacity fox Park Creek Subdivision, which consists of 45 single-family residential lots on +/- 98 <br />acres located off Fox Tail Lane in unincorporated Cabarrus County. <br />School Capacity Review <br />Park Creek subdivision will produce 26 students. The schools impacted by the subdivision aze <br />Charles E. Boger Elementary School, Northwest Cabarrus Middle School and Northwest Cabarrus <br />High School. <br />The county's capital improvements plan (CIP) includes a 200 seat addition at Chafles E. Boger <br />Elementary in 2010. <br />The CIP also includes construction of a new middle school in 2010 in the south central part of the <br />County tliat would relieve Northwest Cabarrus Middle School, Hazris Road Middle School & J. N. <br />Fries Middle School. The CIP also includes a 175 seat addition to Northwest Middle School in 2012. <br />Cox Mill High School, which is under construction, is projected to open in 2010 in the western part <br />of Cabarrus County. This school will relieve Northwest Cabarrus and Jay M.
