CABARRUS COUNTY -CURRENT MEMBERSHIP <br />Cabarrus County has four (4) members on the twenty-three (23) member Centralina Workforce <br />Development Board (WD$). The Cabarrus County Commissioners will select and approve <br />nominations for WDB members based on the slate of nominations presented by the appropriate <br />agencies and organizations listed under "General Information" and "Membership". Each WDB <br />member is appointed to serve atwo-year term. Nominations and appointments to fill <br />the categories of Private Sector representatives (2) are requested. <br />- Mr. VanGorden (BVG Consulting) is eligible for reappointment as one of the Private <br />Sector representatives. Bob is an outstanding board member and leader. He serves as <br />Chairman of the Centralina WDB, chairs the Board's Executive Planning Committee and <br />serves on the Board's Community Relations Committee. Bob is a true advocate for <br />workforce development in the region. <br />The Centralina WDB requests that Mr. Bob VanGorden be <br />reappointed. <br />- Ms. Beth Wanke (Team Red Bull Racing) has indicated that her work schedule does not <br />allow her to be an active member of the Board and has asked that she not be reappointed. <br />The Centralina WDB requests the nomination of eligible individuals <br />for appointment as a PRIVATE SECTOR representative -from <br />either Motorsports or Healthcare -for Cabarrus County. <br />~-d <br />
