CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 8/18/08 <br />Agenda Item # ~' <br />SUBJECT: <br />Board of Elections -Budget Amendment - (2008 Special HAVA Grant - $7,000) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />This budget amendment is to appropriate funds in the amount of $7,000 to be received <br />from the NC State Board of Elections from the 2008 Special HAVA Grant. These funds will <br />be used to purchase 49 precinct security bags and three fireproof cabinets to be used for <br />one-stop and election day voting locations.
