CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 8/18/08 <br />Agenda Item # C.7 `~ <br />SUBJECT: <br />Ware Bonsall Architects -Contract Amendments No. 13 and 14 for Cabarrus County <br />Sheriffs Office and Detention Facility -Housing Unit <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />WBA is requesting two amendments to their current contract to cover additional expenses <br />that will be incurred because of the County's inability to construct the Housing Unit at the <br />same time as the Sheriffs Administration Building. 1. Amendment #13 -WBA to provide <br />additional services related to the bidding process - $23,200.00. 2. Amendment #14 - <br />WBA to provide services for the Construction Phase of the Housing Unit- $482,661.00 <br />(includes 130 site visits for WBA and 163 site visits for consultants).
