Allen Replacement Elementary School <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On August 11, 2008, the Cabarrus County Board of Education approved the purchase of <br />28 acres for the new A.T. Allen replacement elementary school site from Mr. and Mrs. <br />Archie Barringer for $896,000 plus closing costs. Funding for this purchase is included in <br />the FY 08/09 budget and approval by the Board of Commissioners is required (NCGS <br />115C-426) in order for this project to proceed. A copy of the Agreement to Sell and <br />Purchase Real Estate is attached for informational purposes. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board approves the agenda item as presented) <br />Motion to approve the purchase of 28 acres for the A.T.
