04/22/08 <br />Frank Lapsley <br />Chairman of the Board <br />Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau <br />Frank: <br />I am writing this letter to serve as the official notice of my resignation from the Board of <br />Directors of the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau effective Apri130`h, <br />2008. As you are aware I have accepted the position as Director of Finance and <br />Administration with the CVB. Due to my new position with the CVB I will not be able <br />to continue serving as a member of the Board. <br />My official star[ date with the CVB will be May Sa', 2008. I am very excited about this <br />opportunity because it will allow me to be a part of this great organization on a full time <br />basis. I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve with you and the rest of the Board <br />over the last two and a half years. <br />This is not an ending to our relationship but a new beginning. I look forward to working <br />with you and the rest of the $oard as I venture into this new position.
