CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 2008 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />EMS - Budget Amendment (Appropriation of State Medical Assistance <br />Team III Grant Funds - $105,602) <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />This budget amendment is to appropriate funds in the amount of $105,602 <br />that have been received from the Office of Emergency Medical Services for <br />disaster medical assistance. These funds are for the State Medical <br />Assistance Team (SMAT) III Grant, Contract #HP-08-1597 and will be used <br />for training of qualified employees, and the purchase of a 24' Pace Trailer, <br />equipment/supplies, and a Decon Shelter.
