CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 2008 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance -Temporary Construction Easement for Cox Mill High School <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On August 11, 2008, the Cabarrus County Board of Education <br />(BOE) approved the purchase of a Temporary Construction Easement <br />from landowners Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Hefner. The Cabarrus County BOE <br />requests the Cabarrus County Commissioners to approve this $7,500 <br />acquisition. The $7,500 was previously budgeted under the land line item <br />for the new Cox Mill High School. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the Temporary Construction Easement Agreement <br />between Daniel B. and Shelly H. Hefner, Cabarrus County and Cabarrus <br />County Board of Education for Cox Mill High School; and authorize the <br />County Manager to execute the Agreement, subject to review and/or <br />revision by the County Attorney. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Pamela S.
