According to G.S. 115C-426(f), the Board of County <br />Commissioners must approve the amount to be spent on the school site. <br />The terms of the condemnation are as follows: 45 acres x $55,000 per <br />acre = $2,475,000 plus related closing cost. The notice of condemnation <br />is attached for your review. Funds are allocated in the FY 09 budget in <br />the Capital Reserve Fund -Land Acquisition. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />' Motion to approve the purchase of the Garrison property (Parcel ID# <br />5600815026) for the New Northwest Area Middle school as stated in the <br />Notice of Condemnation and requested by the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Education.
